2.4 AI and Model Training Data
Where you contribute data to any Tictag data collection, annotation, or labelling programme (including via the Tictag App or Tagger Community), you acknowledge that such Submitted Content, together with associated annotations, labels, and metadata, constitutes training data that Tictag may use to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and commercialise AI and machine learning models ("AI Training Data"). Tictag retains full ownership rights in all AI Training Data and all models, outputs, and derivative works produced therefrom, irrespective of the source of the underlying data.
3. How We Use Your Information
Tictag uses collected information for the following purposes, each of which constitutes a legitimate basis for processing under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") and equivalent legislation in all jurisdictions in which Tictag operates:
3.1 Service Delivery and Operations
To provide, operate, maintain, and improve our AI solutions, data annotation platforms, SaaS products, and professional services.

3.3 Business Development and Marketing
To identify sales opportunities, conduct outreach to prospective clients, and manage customer relationships.
To send marketing communications, including newsletters, product updates, event invitations, and promotional materials. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting us, but this does not affect processing necessary for service delivery.
To analyse usage patterns and market trends to inform Tictag's commercial strategy.
3.4 Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, and lawful requests from government authorities.
To enforce this Policy, our Terms of Service, and any client or partner agreements.
To protect the security and integrity of Tictag platforms, detect and prevent fraud, and investigate suspected breaches.

3.5 Corporate Transactions
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets, financing, or similar corporate transaction involving Tictag, your information may be transferred to the relevant counterparty as part of that transaction. Tictag will take reasonable steps to ensure continued protection of your information in accordance with this Policy, and you will be notified of any material change to the data controller.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Tictag operates as part of a broader group of entities and relies on third-party service providers to deliver its services. We share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Affiliates and Subsidiaries
We share information freely among Tictag's affiliated entities and subsidiaries globally, including entities in Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Hong Kong SAR, to support our integrated business operations. All affiliated entities are required to handle data in a manner consistent with this Policy.
4.2 Service Providers and Subprocessors
We engage third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers to assist with hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, customer support, marketing, security, and other operational functions. These parties access data only to the extent necessary to perform their contracted services, and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations appropriate to the sensitivity of the data.
4.3 Business Partners
We may share aggregated, anonymised, or, with your consent where required, identifiable information with strategic business partners, technology partners, and channel partners for joint service delivery, co-development, or commercial purposes.
4.4 Legal Compulsion
We will disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required to: (a) comply with a legal obligation or lawful government request; (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of Tictag, our users, or the public; or (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.
4.5 Derived and Aggregated Data
Tictag may share, sell, license, or otherwise commercialise Derived Data (anonymised or aggregated data that does not identify any individual) without restriction. This includes sharing with commercial partners, research institutions, and data marketplaces. Such activities do not constitute disclosure of personal data for the purposes of the PDPA.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Tictag and our authorised service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, local storage objects, and similar technologies to collect and store information when you interact with our services. These technologies serve the following purposes:
Essential cookies: necessary for the operation of our platforms, including authentication, security, and session management. These cannot be disabled without impairing service functionality.
Analytical cookies: to understand how users interact with our platforms, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of our features and campaigns.
Functional cookies: to remember user preferences, language settings, and personalisation choices.
Marketing and retargeting cookies: used by Tictag and third-party advertising partners to deliver targeted advertisements and measure advertising effectiveness.
By continuing to use Tictag platforms after accepting this Policy, you consent to the use of all cookie categories described above. Where applicable law requires explicit consent for specific cookie types, Tictag will present an appropriate consent mechanism. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may significantly impair your ability to use Tictag services.
6. Data Retention
Tictag retains personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, and the protection of Tictag's legitimate business interests. The following principles apply:
Account data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a period of not less than seven (7) years thereafter, or such longer period as may be required by applicable law.
AI Training Data and Submitted Content are retained indefinitely and may continue to be used in the development and training of Tictag AI models following termination of any service relationship, unless you make a valid deletion request under applicable law and Tictag determines that retention is not necessary to protect its legitimate interests.
Aggregated and anonymised Derived Data, which does not constitute personal data, is retained indefinitely without restriction.
Log and usage data are retained for a minimum of three (3) years for security, audit, and operational purposes.
Tictag reserves the right to retain data for extended periods where: (a) retention is required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations; (b) there is an ongoing or reasonably anticipated dispute, investigation, or claim; or (c) Tictag determines that retention serves a legitimate business purpose that outweighs the data subject's interest in deletion.
7. Data Security
Tictag implements commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include, without limitation, encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, network firewalls, regular security assessments, and incident response procedures.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Tictag does not warrant that our security measures are impenetrable or that data will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in a manner inconsistent with this Policy. You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk, and Tictag's liability for any security incident is strictly limited in accordance with Section 11 of this Policy.
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals, Tictag will notify the affected parties and relevant regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.
8. International Data Transfers
Tictag operates globally and your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries other than your country of residence, including Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, and jurisdictions where our third-party service providers maintain infrastructure. Such countries may have data protection laws that are different from those in your home jurisdiction.
By using Tictag services, you expressly consent to the transfer of your information to any country in which Tictag or its service providers operate, provided that Tictag takes steps it considers reasonable to ensure that any recipient of personal data provides a standard of protection comparable to that afforded under the PDPA. You acknowledge that not all destination countries will provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law and the limitations set out in this Policy, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
Access: the right to request confirmation of whether Tictag holds personal data about you and to obtain a copy of that data.
Correction: the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
Opt-out from marketing: the right to opt out of receiving marketing communications from Tictag.
Please note the following limitations on your rights:
Tictag may decline requests where compliance would prejudice legitimate business interests, ongoing investigations, or legal proceedings, or where the data in question has been anonymised or aggregated such that it no longer constitutes personal data.
Rights to erasure or deletion of AI Training Data may be limited by Tictag's legitimate interest in maintaining the integrity and utility of AI models that have been trained using that data.
Tictag reserves the right to verify your identity before acting on any request, and to charge a reasonable administrative fee for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at privacy@tictag.io. Tictag will respond to all valid requests within thirty (30) business days, subject to the verification requirements above.
10. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of any personal data you provide to Tictag. However, by submitting data, content, or materials to any Tictag platform or service, you grant Tictag a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, copy, adapt, modify, publish, distribute, process, translate, and create derivative works from such content for any lawful purpose, including AI training and product development, without any obligation to account to you.
All AI models, algorithms, software, platforms, tools, Derived Data, and intellectual property developed by Tictag, whether independently or using data you provide, are and remain the exclusive property of Tagteam Technologies Pte. Ltd. No right, title, or interest in any Tictag intellectual property is transferred to you by virtue of your use of our services or your contribution of data.
Tictag's name, logo, trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the exclusive property of Tagteam Technologies Pte. Ltd. and may not be used without our prior written consent.
